CivCrafter falls halfway between strategy and casual games and is highly reminiscent of the excellent CivClicker, a game where you create your own civilization using the most minimalist of gameplays.
The gameplay in CivCrafter is very similar to the classic games Cookie Clicker or Candy Box. In other words: you have to tap the screen to get resources, but then you can buy villagers who will 'click' for you. As you get more and more resources, you can buy more and more improvements for your civilization: tents, huts, houses, barns, barracks, and so on.
The strategy component in CivCrafter lets you to assign jobs to all your citizens. Ideally, you'll always have a good supply of farmers to have enough food, but you'll also need loggers, miners, blacksmiths, clergymen, and more.
CivCrafter is quite a good strategy game, and despite having a seemingly simple gameplay (tap the screen nonstop), it has a huge amount of content.
